INGREDIENT GLOSSARY

Hyaluronic Acid

Hydration = Hyaluronic Acid.

Think of hyaluronic acid like a BIG drink of water for your skin.

Hyaluronic Acid helps reduce the fine lines and wrinkles by retaining moisture to the skin and creating a plumping effect. It’s able to hold up to 1,000 times its molecular weight in water, and thanks to the boost of moisture skin cell production can take place. The luxurious ingredient penetrates the skin and binds water to skin cells, infusing all layers of the skin with rejuvenating moisture.

Vitamin E

Vitamin E is a natural component of healthy skin. It offers significant antioxidant properties to help defend skin from environmental stressors that would otherwise weaken skin, causing unwanted changes. Why are antioxidants so beneficial? They prevent oxidative damage to cells by helping to remove free radicals (the bad guys).

On your skin, Vitamin E can translate to decreased redness, brighter and even complexion and improved appearance of scars.

Astaxanthin

(Pronounced “asta-zan-thin,” in case you were curious.)

Astaxanthin is the secret antioxidant your skincare routine needs ASAP. It’s a potent antioxidant that helps to smooth wrinkles, make age spots smaller, and maintain skin moisture. Astaxanthin is more powerful than vitamins e and c and helps to repair skin from within.  Apply topically to promote healthy skin.

Our SuperBioActive range contains Astaxanthin, see more here.
