Skin Care –Series and Use
Q: How do I use the serum and oil most effectively?
A: The two products can be used together for maximum results. Serum delivers moisture to the hydrophilic regions of the skin while the oil nourishes and protects the hydrophilic regions. By mixing the two you can customize your skincare routine depending on your skin type, the season and your personal needs. When combining the oil and serum we advise blending in the palm of your hand and applying to your face as one product, carefully avoiding the sensitive eye area. During cold winter months you may wish to add a few drops of oil to nourish your skin. Whereas on a flight, serum is best to boost skin hydration. Mix and match to find your perfect combination.
Q: What is the difference between BioDefense and Super BioActive?
A: BioDefense is an age-prevention series designed to delay the first signs of ageing.
Super BioActive is an advanced anti-age line for customers with mature skin. Super BioActive corrects while BioDefense is preventative.
Q: What is the difference between the BioCleanse Cleansing Gel and Milk?
A: Gel and milk are similar products to be used as part of your daily routine.
However, there are some slight differences. Gel form a lather, washing away makeup and impurities. Cleansing milk is slightly richer and also moisturizes skin. This product can be used daily in dry winter months or all year round for skin in need of hydration. Both products are gentle enough to be used around the sensitive eye area.

Pernilla Questions and Answers
Q: What inspired you to found Estelle & Thild? And who is the product for?
A: The idea to found the brand came to me when I had my children Estelle and Mathilde and I wanted to do something meaningful. I saw the amount of chemicals used to produce conventional beauty products, and grew painfully aware of the effect these have on our bodies and the environment. I wanted to make a difference, to do my bit to help the world become a better place. So I set about developing a sustainable business to produce organic innovative skincare without compromising on quality or results.
Q: What is your background prior to launching Estelle & Thild?
A: My previous roles gave me the knowledge I needed to start my own company. Early in my career I worked as a brand consultant advising well-known brands how to grow their business. A few years later I received an offer to become the CEO of a new skincare brand, which provided experience in production and distribution. The company was merged with another and I was at a stage in life where I had time to stop and think about what I wanted to do next. My two children inspired me to create a sustainable business and during my MBA studies I started to work on my business idea.
Q: What makes your brand different to other natural brands on the market?
A: We are a brand with Swedish roots and therefore progressive values based on equality and well being for all. Our heritage is present in everything we do, along with our drive to make a difference to customers and the environment. We are the new generation of high performance organic skincare.
Q: Why have you chosen to certify your products with Ecocert?
A: We choose to certify all of our products as organic by Ecocert to make it clear to the consumer that we are the real deal. The industry can be vague and confusing boasting natural “formulas” or organic “ingredients” but if an entire product is not certified it can be unclear what you are paying for. With our Ecocert certification everything from our factory and formula to packaging and marketing material must pass inspection.
Q: How do I choose the right skincare regime?
A: We have developed four skincare ranges – Skincare by Concern – to target unique skin concerns, each containing key ingredients that tackle these conditions head on. Our aim is to make finding what you need simple. The BioCalm range is for sensitive skin, while BioHydrate targets hydration, BioDefense addresses age prevention and Super BioActive is designed to help repair the visible signs of ageing. Each formula has a specific goal and a carefully selected blend of active ingredients.
